The University College Jubail (UCJ) wishes to invite professionally qualified candidates to apply for the immediately vacant positions of senior lecturer/ lecturer in Computer Science, Management Information System, Interior Design, Business Administration to develop and participate in teaching the said major. In addition to holding PhD in Computer Science for the senior lecturer position and Masters Degree in Computer Science for the lecturer position, successful applicants should have the required knowledge and practice of skills commensurate with the above posts including:
Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer in Computer Science
Five years undergraduate teaching experience with proven track in teaching a range of core undergraduate courses in BS Computer Science major including digital logic, discrete structures, algorithms and data structures, computer organization & assembly languages, computer architecture, programming languages, database systems, software engineering, operating systems, computer networks and data communications.
Professional experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.
Proficiency in oral and written English and computer literacy.
Administrative and leadership work experience relating to academic work environment are preferred.
Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer in Management Information Systems
Five years undergraduate teaching experience with proven track in teaching a range of core undergraduate courses in BS MIS major including accounting, economics, finance, management information systems, management, marketing, operations management, business systems analysis and design, business data management, decision support systems, information resource management.
Professional experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.
Proficiency in oral and written English and computer literacy.
Administrative and leadership work experience relating to academic work environment are preferred.
Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer in Interior Design
Five years undergraduate teaching experience with proven track in teaching a range of core undergraduate courses in BS Interior Design major including sketching and perspective drawing, CAD and graphic design of interiors, space planning and interior design programming, lighting and color design, construction systems, specifications, codes and materials, design studio and professional practice.
Professional experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.
Proficiency in oral and written English and computer literacy.
Administrative and leadership work experience relating to academic work environment are preferred.
Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer in Business Administration
Five years undergraduate teaching experience with proven track in teaching a range of core undergraduate courses in BS Business Administration major including accounting, economics, finance, marketing, operations management, human resource management, decision support systems, business law, organizational structure and behavior, international business and business strategy.
Professional experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.
Proficiency in oral and written English and computer literacy.
Administrative and leadership work experience relating to academic work environment are preferred.
