Overview
The Department of Accounting and Information Systems of the University of Canterbury is pleased to announce the availability of up to 6 Travel and Conference Participation Grants of NZ$2,500 each, for the purpose of funding the participation of new and emerging New Zealand-based scholars in the field of social and environmental accounting at the 9th CSEAR (Centre for Social & Environmental Accounting Research) Australasian Conference, 5 - 7 December 2010, Albury Wodonga, Australia, and the associated Emerging Scholars` Colloquium, 4 December 2010.
The grants will provide a contribution towards the costs of registration and travel to attend the conference and/or the Emerging Scholar`s Colloqium.
Eligibility
Applicants are invited to submit a brief outline (up to 1,000 words) providing their contact details, and stating their interest in attending the conference and how they meet the grant criteria. Preference will be given to applicants who due to their circumstances may have higher than average travel costs.
Amount : $2,500
